Home Schooling in Minnesota
In accordance with state law, Rockford Area Schools is required to ensure that all school-age children living within the district's boundaries are being educated.
For specific home school questions and to check out requirements, visit the Minnesota Department of Education website or you can use this link for MDE's Homeschool Information for Parents. If you determine that home-schooling is the best option for your child, please complete the Unaccredited Nonpublic School (Including Homeschools) Full Report.
For home school students who have previously reported to the district, please submit a Letter of Intent to Continue to Provide Instruction.
If you wish to participate in the MDE nonpublic pupil aids program, you must request the Student Report for Aid to Nonpublic Students form from the district office (email email@example.com or call 763-477-9165 x4004). The forms need to be completed and signed on or before September 15.
